The artwork presented, I believe, is of utter brilliance for as the facial and anatomical proportions are greatly represented, and your usage of gradient shading and vibrant colorations is quite notable as well. The transparency of the bow tie is quite an interesting inclusion. May thine art succeed and concur the contest.

Oh my, hello sir,
thank you kindly for your genial words and the utter wonderfulness of those celestial bodies you have so graciously given me.

Right, aside from not accepting that not being a native English speaker makes me a lousy prose writer, I honestly thank you for the lovely feedback.
I'm very happy I've been able to portray this wonderful fellow human in a way others like it :)

May your wishes be fulfilled and your day treasure-laden with countless joys

What you present here is of utter brilliance. The lines are very well drawn, with an excellent variety shown. The high contrast shading and highlighting values functions extremely well. The amount of detail is phenomenal. The usage of a halftone background is of uniqueness. I believe you have created a grand piece of art.

The colors are vibrant, with an excellent variety chosen. The value is quite good, with light reflecting appropriately. The lines and shapes are painted greatly, with a nice variation of such. The proportions, I might add, successfully portrays "you" in a hopefully realistic manner. One minor complaint would be that the background appears to be rather...off. However, on an overall scale, this is an astounding piece.

The lines drawn here are excellent, and portrays the comic book styling very well. The value is also great, making use of high contrast shading. The colors used are appropriate for the drawing. Proportions are done well also. This piece of art is quite exquisite, and I would be glad to see this in an full length comic book.

Thank you SO much for your input! I have been experimenting with scanning in pictures that weren't inked. These, and a few others I have up here, are just pencil sketches. I love the loose look/feel of it, but it does take some time to clean the picture up, before I start to color. Glad some of you approve of it's look! Gives me strength to carry on with my crazy ways! lol

A fantastic piece you have here. The lines are drawn greatly, with some variation. The value is marvelous, with shadows forming appropriately. The colors are also nicely done. However, it would've benefited from a more creative background. On an overall scale, this is a great art piece.

Thank you very much for the comment! And I agree with you for the background. I wanted to keep the focus on the vehicule, but, like you said, it could have been way more creative.

You did a fantastic job with this. The lines are great, and appropriate for the characters shown; The value is also good, making proficient use of hatching and contour line techniques, as well as non line based shading.[Color darkening, esc.] The colors chosen are also good as well. A few minor complaints would be that Venom appears to be floating in midair, and the background seems a bit strange to me. However, on an overall scale, this is excellent. It's no wonder why you almost sold out of print at Comic Con.

I enjoy the busy nature of this piece, with everything going on within it. The lines flow together nicely, witch is excellent for art of this kind. The value is fitting, but it makes it difficult to determine certain shapes at times. Also, some color would've been nice, but I feel it's not a huge issue. Overall, I really enjoyed this, and I hope you make more art in this fashion.

Awesome. just Awesome. I love it when an artist makes something like this.
